It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our dear Hans Otten.

Hans was not only the driving force behind U Eat & Sleep, but also a warm-hearted person who was a source of inspiration, hospitality and connection to so many. His presence gave our place a soul that is difficult to put into words. His loss leaves a deep void within our team and amongst everyone who knew him.

We would like to sincerely thank everyone for the many messages of support, sympathy and fond memories. These mean the world to us at this difficult time.

The business will remain open, just as Hans himself would have wanted. In this way, we wish to continue to carry on his vision and passion.
